I was watching a student conduct an interview on campus and they interviewed an Ignorantic who said he admired the Jewish people for wearing their "mazotoffs" on their heads in public....Well, that was nice of him. Since "mazatoff" is Hebrew for good fortune.

For future reference, they are called yamakas. Please and thank you.

I love the readers of Ignorantics! We are a strong community of folks who want to see other folks write and speak well. That being said, we also won't hesitate to turn in a family member or friend! 

That being said...here is another gem sent in by a reader. Her aunt said "I need to unthaw my smoked turkey for my greens!" 

How do you unthaw a turkey? Does anyone know?

This little "gem" was sent to me by one of my readers. It's Black History Month, and I believe this is a tribute to Rosa Parks. The person who created this was diligent enough to use Wikipedia for the facts below:
