I Think My Nephew Has 80HD!

80HD? Really?

Most HD TVs are at least 1080HD, and if you  have an 80HD, maybe the reception would have you running in circles, BUT...if this is the new way to say Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), then...well

[sigh]

The Martin Loofah King Exfoliating Glove

In one of my previous posts, I talked about folks pronouncing Martin Luther King's name and Luther Vandross' name like "Loofa". Well, I think a little Ignorantic birdie read that and decided it would be a great idea to use this ignorantic and turn it into ignorantic marketing madness.

"Have a wash and be inspired"? Really??!!

I Have to Make An Appointment to See My GhanaColleges!

This is a RT of @CoCoMuffen's tweet that she has since deleted because of all the retweets (ironic that an Ignorantic can be shamed into deleting an ignorant tweet-but that's progress, I guess). Hard to believe that in 2012, a woman would spell "gynecologist" like "ghanacolleges".

With all the technology tools available to get it right, folks are still so wrong. The red swiggly line is the biggest hint. I think Ignorantics just look at it and say to themselves "That word is underlined in red because I just came up with this new word! That's awesome!"

Like I said before, ignorance is a choice...

A Speech Pathologist Can Help With Those Peppermints!

How did "impediment" turn into "peppermint"? *blank stare*

A Whole Nother Level...

Most people want to climb the ladder of success. They aspire to reach the top or at least close to the top.

On the other hand, Ignorantics have different aspirations. Ignorantics want to take it to a "whole nother level"...Have you heard this before? Sure, you have...because you've said it. In fact, I would venture a guess that 80% of the people who are reading this have said this phrase at least once or twice in their life.

The question is...when you take things to a "whole nother level", can you reach the top?

I Need More Medicine in My Glasses "Cause I Can't See Good"

Now, I know what you are about to say...Well, technically, medicine is a prescription and eyeglasses are medicine to correct or treat eyesight. I get it, but does it make it "correct"? Did you know that this phrase was used by older opticians a very long time ago as a way to explain how spectacles worked to under-educated people "that they put medicine in the glass to help you see". Some people took it a little too literally, because today, many of the older patients can be heard saying that they needed the optician to put more medicine in their glasses, cause the glasses chipped and it leaked out. I know, sad...

As for seeing "good"...well, you can't see good, but you can definitely see "better". Carry on...

To Be or Not Never to Be...That is the Question??

I'm not one to begrudge an Ignorantic a little prose, but whenever they travel into Shakespeare land, you know its about to be on and poppin! One of my readers who is a cop, emailed me this story about an  Ignorantic on a DUI traffic stop. This Ignorantic thought he would not only impress the police with his ability to walk a straight line, he was also going to recite a little Shakespeare: "to be or not never to be...that is the question..." Ok, now I won't share the rest because it was a literary crime of great proportions...but suffice it to say, Shakespeare probably shook in his grave!
