Let's Go Back to Basics, Ignorantics...

This poster is also available in a laminated wallet-size. It can be very handy when you want to be included in a conversation, but you are not sure if what you are about to say is correct. Whip this out, glance at it for reassurance, then place it back in your wallet.

  1. These joints should be readily available by the register at all convenient stores. Better yet, let's just pay attention in grade school.

  2. You are actually showing them how to diagram a sentence!

Wait until they must decide to use "who" or "whom" in a sentence.

    You're good . . . you're good!!

I am from M-i-s-s-i-s-s-i-p-p-i -- I can hear the jokes about this -- and feel that we should be the most educated in the world. But, based upon test scores and our predilection for sports (the easy way out), we have failed to hit the mark. We read at a level that is much lower than we should be with all of the available resources.

Well, we do know how to get to the next higher level in a video game. And, we can follow fashion to brink-of-broke.

It is sad, and I can only blame the parents.

  3. Johnny, thanks for the Go Diva comments...I mentioned in my disclaimer [top right in BOLD]that an occasional mis-stroke or rush to publish does furnish an occasional lapse here and there. I am pleased that you enjoy the blog...unfortunately, there is more than enough material to publish! LOL!
